What it is: An LED mirror with 15x magnifying capabilities that is optically clear from edge to edge with no distortion and features lighting around the entire perimeter for crystal clarity.
What it does: It's perfect for detailed, precision tasks such as tweezing, applying makeup or putting in contacts. Total perimeter illumination helps you see anything you normally might have missed. It enables you to identify and isolate even the smallest, finest hairs for precise tweezing. Suction cups attach the mirror to your vanity mirror or other clean, smooth surfaces for convenient, hands-free use.
How to use: Attach to vanity mirror or any clean, smooth surface by gently pushing the suction cups on back to compress and adhere firmly. For better holding power, first moisten the cups slightly. To remove, gently lift edge of each cup to release.

I'm so glad I opted for this instead of the 12x Tweezerman mirror. I never knew a mirror could be so magnified. I am able to apply eye liner with precision, see my pores like never before. I highly recommend this for contact wearers or those with sensitive eyes. It literally sheds lights as to why they are irritated.
I loved this mirror so much I also have it in the larger size. I use the mini for my car. The mini is great for nighttime make-up applications

Terrible desig as button to turn on light is on back of mirror, meaning you have to take the suctioned mirror off every time to turn the light on.

Good mirror overall, needs clearer instructions
The mirror is great for tweezing and applying eye makeup. The suction cups do a good job of keeping the mirror in place, unlike others I've used. There is some information in the the product details that is incorrect: the description says that batteries are not included, but they are, as is stated on the box. I was slightly annoyed to have bought batteries I didn't need prior to receiving the mirror (although I can use them in the future if and when the existing ones run out).
An earlier reviewer was having trouble turning the light on, and was removing the mirror in order to turn the light on and off. It took me a while to figure out that the light turns on/off when one gently presses the mirror against a hard surface, so that the on/off circular switch on the back of the mirror is activated. These directions are neither in Nordstrom's description of this item, on the Tweezerman box, or on the Tweezerman website. I felt like a colossal idiot when I finally figured it out, but using this mirror's light is by no means intuitive.

suction cups not so great
Suction cups seem to fail and the mirror falls a lot. I have had several of these and the same thing happens to all of them but seems to happen more frequently now. This size is very small make sure to check measurements to make sure it is the size you are looking for.

No light at the end of this tunnel
I defy anyone from Tweezerman or even Nordstrom to handle this mirror and figure out how it works. The light does not come on, but the tiny disc batteries fall out easily. Back to the drawing board, Tweezerman! The actual mirror is ok.
