Another great TUMI bag!
I previously bought the Alpha Bravo Service Crossbody which I love. When I travel I need more space and I am so pleased with this new bag, I just returned from 4 weeks overseas and it was the perfect traveling companion. I’m still finding all the clever storage places it has

Previous version was better
I have a previous generation of the Medium Travel Tote, which I love dearly, but the zippers are worn out and the fabric has lost stiffness. (This is to be expected, as it's over 10 years old.) I should probably replace it, but the latest version of the Medium Travel Tote is a design disaster. The crossbody strap does not allow the bag to hang correctly and is designed not to be removed. The dual top handles are awkward. I've decided to have Tumi replace the zippers on my old Medium Travel Tote, and I suppose I'll wait for a better re-design to come along.

Mislead about Size
I wanted to replace my original Tumi bag and purchased this one from the sales lady’s recommendation. I told her I needed something to fit my iPad Pro 13’ in, and asked if it would fit in the pocket inside the bag. She said it would - well, after leaving the city (from vacation) and getting my iPad, it doesn’t fit in the pocket inside. Very unfortunate because I love Tumi, but they are only as good as their salesmen. I’m not going to fly back to the city to return it, so I guess I’m screwed. Very unfortunate.

We have had this design, a smaller version, in leather since the mid 80’s. Another some in the style but larger. since the 90’s. They look as good as new. We are going to love this one also as it extends deeper.

Attractive and functional tote
The Tote is a perfect size for my small laptop, iPad, and modest amount of work documents. The Tote also is very sharp in appearance.
The only modifications to improve the functionality are:
- Thin removable cushion at base
- Removable sling strap
- Slight expansion of the front pockets

Favorite carryon
It’s great! Compact to fit easily under airplane seat, enough compartments including some easily accessible some without zippers for quick retrieval of passports etc. Only wish would be for a padded strap for shoulder. No external bottle holder, but water bottle easily fits inside.

Pros: prefect size, many functional pockets. Cons: useless NON-detachable sling strap.
This is a great size bag to me for daily travel. It has many functional pockets. I love this bag. My only complaint is why the sling strap is NOT detachable. It would provide convenience and space if the sling strap can be detachable, and a zip is added to turn the sling strap pocket to another practical pocket. Then the bag would be perfect.
