This expandable suitcase is designed with a Lever Lock System™ that allows you to pack more while still enjoying the rigid structure and durability of aluminum.

Closure: The two-way zip-around closure features a low-profile integrated TSA-approved lock with a three-digit combination dial for extra security. Tumi's patented Omega Closure System® reduces the risk of damage to the zipper and is designed to break away from the bag if it becomes caught, so the puller—rather than the entire zipper—can be quickly and easily replaced.

Exterior features: Tumi's patent-pending DuraFold™ construction method folds and reinforces the corners of hardside cases with heavy-duty stitching and impact-resistant caps that provide superior corner strength and impact resistance for long-lasting use. Four recessed, 360º-swiveling, easy-to-maneuver wheels offer multidirectional navigation through busy airport terminals.

Interior features: A tie-down compression strap helps you pack it all in while a hanger bracket and plenty of zip pockets help keep your belongings effortlessly organized.

Best decision ever

I’ve had this about 4 years. It lets me pack sooo much. I can’t stand to go on vacation without lots of shoes and beauty products. This fits everything even when I doubt there is any possible way. It’s so easy to push through the airport because it wheels around so very easily. My hubby thought this was unnecessary at first but now agrees it is awesome. Sure, there are scuffs but the functionality is so amazing, I couldn’t care less.

Before you buy a Tumi you should be warned.

Before you consider purchasing a TUMI, I suggest you try calling their customer service number.1 (800) 299-8864 (Thank me later)..... When it disconnects saying “due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot answer this call… then click… hangs up, without any suggestions or help, imagine that you have an issue with one of their expensive pieces of luggage and this is the ONLY number you can call.

Not Worth The Money

I just returned from a month long trip to Europe and used this bag for the first time. I was extremely frustrated the entire trip on how difficult this suitcase was to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best most durable piece of luggage I have ever owned! My daughter had an initial monogram luggage tag especially made for me as a surprise which sets the piece apart even more! I recently took it on a small trip and had no issues. I would like to purchase a plastic cover for it to protect it as it is already dinged. The only downside is I wish both sides could be zipped up like my husband’s samsonite.

Should not look beat up after 2 trips, but it does. Way too expensive. Not up to Tumi reputation

This was a beautiful suitcase out of the box. 2 trips later, the corners are beat to crap, the shiny surfaces are scuffed and scratched, the TSA lock fell off, and I had to tape shut the buckle of the leather luggage tag as it never would have made it through the baggage claim still attached. The suitcase is light and easy to pack, but I’m very disappointed with the cheap, chintzy exterior and not at all durable details at this price point.
