STUNNING SHOW STOPPER
I first saw and fell in love with this gown in a TikTok video—the version I saw was the Tulsia Floral Cape Maxi Dress in blue, which is also absolutely beautiful (and it comes in blush pink, too!). HOWEVER, I’m wearing this to a fall wedding, so the black and pink felt much more appropriate for the season.
The bride wants guests to dress with a certain je ne sais quoi, and this gown definitely delivers that without feeling like it could outshine the bride. I also specifically wanted a gown with beautiful movement for dancing. I can absolutely move and dance comfortably in this, although I’m not exactly dropping it low to the floor—if you know what I mean 😂
Elliatt makes such beautiful dresses and gowns at a really great price point. If you don’t see an Elliatt gown you love on Nordstrom, I highly recommend checking their website because they have even more options.
I had some sizing questions because this dress has zero stretch, so I emailed Elliatt’s customer service and received amazing recommendations based on my measurements. For reference, I’m a 29” waist and 36” bust. Their website recommended a size M based on my measurements, but because I wanted to make absolutely sure I could comfortably slide into the gown, I went with a size L. The zipper is hidden underneath the top layer on the left side, so I wanted to give myself a little extra room.
