What it is: A Nordstrom-exclusive scent that captures the olfactory nuances that fill the air during the Middle Eastern ritual of oud burning.
Fragrance story: The warmth and sensuality of oud is enhanced with woody and spicy accords. Unexpectedly floral top notes of freesia and saffron give way to a heart of agarwood entwined with osmanthus and jasmine, Carolina Herrera's favorite flower. Base notes of myrrh, sandalwood and patchouli underline the ambery depth of the perfume and enhance its intensity.

It lasted longer than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. There's a subtle hint of osmanthus in it that adds a lovely touch. Overall, a very nice fragrance.

Not my favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one that i can honestly say wasn’t my favorite. I still prefer the good girl one over this any day. This one smells a bit spicy which is not my favor ent at all.

Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried True Oud by Carolina Herrera — it’s definitely a bold one 😅 The scent is super rich and strong, a little too intense for my taste. If you love deep, powerful oud fragrances, this might be your vibe, but for me it was just a bit much. Beautiful scent, just not my style. 💫

Spicy Autumnal Unisex Fragrance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found True Oud by Caroline Herrera to be a little challenging to wear. When directly smelling the fragrance, it comes across as a very strong, spicy fragrance which I feel strongly leans masculine. With that said, despite its intense scent, I feel the sillage or projection left more to be desired. Personally, I don’t think this is the best representation of an Oud, and I would pass on it due to my preferences. I think this is something someone should consider sampling in person before buying as I believe blind buying this particular product can lead to a little disappointment.

Rich, sweet & earthy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rich, sweet and earthy aroma, goes on strong but fades.. at least in the Texas heat. However, the trial size was perfect to throw in my purse to refresh and even without the protective box it both didn't leak or break.
