yippee for sensitive skins!

This was a blind buy. I have extremely sensitive skin & either break out easily or there’s an eczema flare up. When I first used this, the texture is amazingly emollient but sank in right away. I was very alarmed to smell a floral scent! But the next morning- no reaction! Phew. The 2nd morning- smooth skin & still no reaction! The 3rd morning- im suitably impressed. Wow, finally, a thick cream for mature skin that doesn’t cause irritation. Thank you!

Don't believe the hip

You are paying a high price point for Green Tea (an antioxidant), aloe (smoothes the skin) and glycerin (for hydration). Near the bottom of the ingredients is rosehip oil which brightens the skin. There are also a few other antioxidants and moisterizers. There's nothing wrong with the ingredients listed, but if you do some research you'll find the same ingredients in excellent brands that you can buy for $10 - $15. This is super overpriced for ingredients that are not unique or expensive to turn into skincare.

Pluses and minuses

I started using this about 6 weeks ago. I use it in the morning post shower and some nights but honestly I usually forget at night because I'm beat (I have a 20 month old). This smells like sun dried tomato oil so if that is ok with you then it should be fine. It hits me every time I bring it to my face but I've gotten used to it. I use about half a dropper full, when I use less it doesn't cover my entire face and more is too heavy for me. I don't know if my skin looks any better honestly but it's nice and it definitely hydrates and it's not a lotion which is why I first switched to serums and tried this oil because I get milia and my Derm recommended the switch. The reviewers that say their skin cleared up surprise me and I was hoping some of the dark spots I got during pregnancy might lighten but I really don't see a difference. It is really luxurious and I enjoy using it but if you like to wear makeup and apply it shortly after this it will not stay on well. I feel my undereye concealer doesn't last as long with this but I like to hydrate my entire face including the eye area so it's a bit of a catch 22.. definite pluses and minuses. I think if I saw a bit more improvement then I'd be more convinced but so far I find it goes fast for the price (I'm already through half a bottle in just 6 or 7 weeks) and I'm not seeing enough difference to make me a convert for good. MOLD

I have purchased and loved this product in the past. However, I went to apply it recently and noticed the dropper was discolored and molded. I reached out to True Botanicals and was told I should follow up with the place of purchase. I will follow up with Nordstrom bc it is too expensive to let 3/4 of a bottle go to waste but very disappointed in TB. For the price and expected quality, I would have expected better customer support.

Staple in my skincare routine

As I'm coming to the end of finishing my second bottle I'm convinced on keeping this serum in my skincare routine. Applying this daily has majorly transformed my skin barrier and keeps my skin all around hydrated and tight.
