True Body Wireless Convertible Bandeau Bra

I have several of their other bras wireless bras, the convertible strap, the racer back, and they are pretty comfortable and offer ok support. I am not a fan of having to always stuff the padding back in because it always falls out in wash, but I can live with it. This bra, however, was a big let down. I bought last minute, in a rush, and without trying on. I went with X-Large because I’m a 36-38c and that was in the x-large range. When I put it on, over my head, the pads bunched up and I had to spend some time shifting them back into place. After wearing one evening as a strapless, the pads, which do not have anything to hold them in place, had shifted together, one mostly over the other, in the middle of my chest. Not sure how that happened. It did hold up and maybe without the pads it would work better. Using the pads is a no go for me.

The fabric felt soft and stretchy and the color was nice. But everything else was just wrong. The bandeau style is basically two thin sheets of fabric sewn together. The very very thin cups shift around way too much in between, so when putting it on, you have to attempt to hold them in place, otherwise you risk having a uni-boob. The cups are super thin which defeats the purpose of having it, but taking it out defeats the purpose of having a bra at all.

I am an XS and most brands and could have gone with either the XS or Small, but opted for the XS. It works well as a strapless wireless option (of which there are not many!) but I probably wouldn’t buy it again. The pads shift around at the slightest movement and end up all over the place - looks super weird under a tighter-fitting shirt! Also I wish it had a “neckline” instead of a tube top so this was compatible with more types of shirts. Will keep searching for the perfect strapless bra solution…
