Trésor Eau de Parfum Set (Limited Edition) $156 Value

I’ve known the scent of classic tresor for most of my life. It was my mothers favorite perfume in the early 2000s, and I grew up adopting it as my own signature scent. After 2020, the formulation has completely changed and the smell is not the same at all. It wreaks of ethanol and smells like something you’d buy from a master-copy Instagram page. I am envious of these other reviewers for not noticing the difference, but I can’t ignore it. I’ve bought 2 bottles since, and I almost thought they were counterfeits, but now that I see that Lancôme is promoting the same bottle shape (which has also changed) I have to accept that there’s no hope of me ever finding the true classic original scent in the future. The smaller more rhombus bottle in the image is the beloved original tresor, and the larger more square bottle is the new cheap ethanol scented replacement. I hope the money you saved changing the formulation was worth ruining a timeless and classic perfume. How sad.
