Very Comfortable & Stylish
At 5'10", a low heel works for me. The ankle is comfortably padded and the insole is removable for inserting your own orthotic. I ordered a wide width to accommodate moderate bunions, however the heel width is not wide providing a secure but comfortable fit in the heel. I liked the black pair so much that I ordered them in brown as well.

too small-
My first trotter ankle boot 3 years ago was great. past 2 years, I've ordered several pairs of this trotters ankle boot to try and find one thats not too tight and all are too tight. if I size up its too long. wont buy another pair of trotters sad to say cause it was a nice boot at one time. they need quality control in sizing. will return again.

Wonderful fit and all day comfort
Love this bootie. Being 6’2 I dont like a tall heel, and wanted something that would show an arch. This shoe fit the bill. It’s comfy for all day wear, doesn’t get in the way of my ankle, and looks great with pants, jeans, skirts. What was available was the black cloth; the matte black is wonderfully understated and elegant.

They look nice but…
I loved the look of these shoes but, they were too narrow for me. Also the fact that they were genuine leather made them very stiff. It broke my heart to send them back.

Comfortable without sacrificing style
I can wear these booties all day long at work without any issues. They have great arch support which has prevented my foot from cramping up like it does with some other shoes after wearing them for half the day. The heel is just enough height to make the shoes acceptable with casual or dressy style.
