Estee Ballet Flat (Women)

Based on reviews, I decided to try Trotters for the first time. Not sure about sizing, I ordered my usual size (11) and a half size down in two widths. None of them fit *perfectly* but I liked the leather, color (Caramel), and they appear to be well-made so went with the best fit (10.5 W). First time wearing out of the house turned into misery with the back heel of the left shoe alternately sliding and digging into my skin, creating an open blister. It's been a while since that has happened -- and not with flats. Attempts to wear after have had similar results...live and learn. I won't purchase this brand again.

These are very comfy, well-made, well-padded good arch support. I have the caramel leather color (as well as navy and black) and they are real workhorses in my work wardrobe. I can walk for miles in these. Others have mentioned heel-digging, but I have not had that as an issue. They are easy to pack for work trips. Will buy more. Love these Estees, and their discontinued MJ style, Hester, too.

I bought this same shoe several years ago and it became a staple in my wardrobe. When it was wearing out, I ordered it again. I'm not sure what happened between the original pair and this pair, but these ripped the skin off both my heels before I had gotten to the subway. It was so bad that I had to bend down the heels of both shoes and shuffle home as if they were a mule. I literally could not wear any shoes with a back for two weeks. If I had not worn them I would have returned.
