Weak plastic closure.
This is the second makeup compact that I have purchased to hold my Trish eye shadows. The back of the case that holds the cover on broke off both times within a short period. The first time I thought it was a one time thing so I bought another, as my cases from years ago are still perfectly functioning, but not as pretty. I was wrong. Within a few months of use the second one broke off pieces that hold the cover on as well. I am very dissatisfied with this Trish product and had expected a better quality.
