Perfection
I am a big fan of Trish McEvoy brushes and #48 is no exception. I love using it to set under eye concealer, lid primers, and for applying highlighter to cheekbones. It's exquisitely soft, does not shed, and washes well while retaining it's shape. Pricey, but well worth the cost. I just bought my second!

Wrong shape
It’s not the right shape I think. Just doesn’t put blush on as expected.

Great under the eyes
I have allergies; don't use fingers to apply makeup to my face and have sensitive allergy prone skin. Also, I can use powders, but not liquids on my skin (preservative allergy#.
I use this brush to layer powder as concealer under my eyes! I know!! I just tap the powder into place until the coverage is right, then I use a sweeping motion to blend. It works every single time.
The brush does shed, but that happens with all natural hair brushes. After a year of daily use, it's still nice and full and looks new #when clean#. I don't use the fancy stuff to clean my brushes, just 80% or higher rubbing alcohol #again with the sensitive skin# and then immediately use my conditioner #which doesn't irritate me) to soften the hairs.

Smaller than I thought
This brush was much smaller than I anticipated. I was looking for something to apply blush or bronzer with, but this was too small. I imagine it would be great for blending/contouring but that wasn't what I was after so I returned it.

Small and soft
I found the brush to be very soft but a little too small for my use. I also tried applying powder blush with it but did not care for how it went on. I prefer to stick with my Trish bronzer brush for blending.
