Wild backpack taming the wild city

This bag bring the Osprey outdoor lifestyle to your daily commute. Comfortable and weather proof with enough space to hold your laptop water bottle and all your commuting essentials. I would warn that this is not a running bag, so don’t treat it as one.

Untruthful Storage Size

Having used this bag fon over a month, it safe to say that this bag was below expectations considering the high price. I don’t know where to start first but the thing that’s bothering the most is that when I open the main storage space, it feels like a battle with the roll top just to put something inside. It’s very sturdy and stiff to a point where it discourages me to even put something inside. Secondly, when I put water bottles in bottle storage space, it takes away further space from the main storages space. Also when I stuff inside things in the main storage space, it also makes it really difficult to put your laptop in the laptop compartment, making you feel that your laptop might snap. Thirdly, the documents pocket is not flat hence it could bend and damage your important documents. It’s like you put 2-3 things like clothes and documents inside and all of a sudden the bag is full or it starts to squash things inside. Nothing ever stays organised inside. The only good thing about this bag is the material and the osprey logo, but then again the above review makes me question if it’s even practical. Maybe they should make a jacket with this material, not backpacks. Waiting for someone to make some sort of compensation after a hefty purchase…

Would not recommend

I have been using this bag since September last year and already raised a design issue that caused pain in my shoulder. Seems like that design fundamentally has this issue, Osprey did try to correct the issue but they replaced the bag after not being able to resolve, the issue still pertains but I need to use the bag as I have invested in to it, didn't have an option to get refund. And today I walked in the rain and despite being a roll top, it had puddles in the main compartment which has made me resent this bag so much.

Great bag

This is a great commuter/travel bag. Lots of space in main compartment, laptop sleeve is great, and the zip up water bottle pouches are so useful (which can conviently be used not just for bottle storage!). The bag is good quality, and seems pretty durable. Very happy!

The front pocket is not fully attached so it collects rain water!

The front pocket of the bag and the main pocket are not stitched all the way round - there is a sleeve between the two which is perfect for collecting ran water. Seems a very odd design, and is not evident by the pictures on the website.
