Trait D'Hermès - Eye Pencil

I wasn’t so sure about these. The very few videos reviews I saw said that they were good just not worth the money. One reviewer said they were so bad they didn’t last and they never set. I have to disagree. I love these. They’re not the slippy Victoria Beckham gel formula, which I also own but they can run away if you don’t set them like your life depends on it. These are a waxy kohl formula. I am an oily combination skin 49 year old. I don’t have smooth young people lids because of my oily lids I need something that will last. These lasted work, some gardening, a workout, dog walk, and cooking dinner over a hot stove. Yeah it faded some but these are actually great on the water line especially if you set them with a matching eyeshadow. Truth is with my oily skin NOTHING lasts all day. The price is expected from Hermes. I just like how Hermes does color and still remains sophisticated, contemporary, and elegant. I will say that the blue was patchy. I purchase luxury makeup for the experience, packaging, and the quality. Yes you can get this from other brands like NYX and even MAC has a comparable kohl I’ve gone through too many to count Teddy and Costs Riche MAC eyeliners but these colors are unique and I prefer the wood pencil. It means it will last until I finish it. Unlike my Chanel stylos which dry out and fall out of the tube.I hope this review helps since I could find so few reviews on this product. If you want a comparison this formula is similar to the Lancôme, Chanel, and MAC kohl liners

I’m really enjoying this eyeliner. I saw many reviews which stated it did not set well and moved but, I did not have this problem. Love the colors I purchased especially the grey as it is not too dark of a grey x many can almost look black which is too dark on me. It went on easily and did not smudge on me. A lovely addition to the Hermes cosmetic line.
