Chain Stitch Wool Blend Scarf Jacket

I snagged this on sale and was disappointed when it arrived damaged. Fortunately, one popped back in stock in my size and customer service promptly issued an exchange. I own this coat in the now discontinued camel color w/o stitching and it’s very soft and luxurious with a beautiful drape. I ordered the black version here and it is completely different - very stiff with coarse kind of curly wool. I wouldn’t say this is a negative, the stiffness provides a unique shape to the coat but is not what I originally expected. It’s meant to be oversized, that is the “look” but I would recommend sizing down one even still. Im curious if the other colors with the stitching have the same feel. Still debating if I will keep it or not.

I have been obsessed with this jacket for a while now, and when I saw it was on sale I jumped on it! The quality is fantastic, but I shouldn't have followed the size guide. This jacket runs VERY large. I know it is supposed to be oversized, but a 36 in no way is representative of a sz 4. It is more like an 8 or 10. I would need to return and order a 32 and it would still likely be oversized. Disappointed that I will have to return. For reference: 5'6" 36/26/36 113 lbs.
