I bought this after reading reviews. As a mom of two I could not fathom buying an unsupported suit, but the fabric of this piece allows for great coverage and the result is very flattering and comfortable. The neckline was loose and didn’t lay flat as shown in the picture. Also no removable cups and will show the nips.

So Elegant
One thing I would like to say to Nordstrom is, can you please take better photos? I couldn’t see the smocking detail nor the back of the suit. However, this is a stunning suit! Très chic

Beautiful suit, poor straps
The fabric and cut of this suit are gorgeous. Unfortunately, the straps would not stay in place. The strap placement in the back is very near the side seam, which causes them to slip over the shoulders and fall down. They are made of a very thin, hair tie like elastic. Not very secure or comfortable. I don't see how it would be possible to swim a lap or chase children around while wearing it and had to return. FWIW I am tall so I ordered one size up to accommodate a long torso.

The perfect black bathing suit
Finding a flattering one-piece black bathing suit can be surprisingly challenging, but this one exceeded my expectations! It fits beautifully and is incredibly flattering. I love how easily it transitions from the beach or pool to a casual outing when paired with a cover-up. This is definitely a timeless piece that I’ll have in my closet for years. Highly recommend!
