Piper Flap Nylon Backpack

I was so excited to get this bag because of how cute it looks but was quickly disappointed with how poorly it was designed. The bag uses an invisible magnet to hold it shut instead of a clasp, which does a horrible job of keeping the bag closed. I bought the backpack for the purpose of being able to put books, etc inside of it but put any more than a few small items inside and the bag will reopen as soon as you attempt to put it on. The backpack is very cute but unfortunately not practical.

I was on the hunt for a chic backpack/purse without feeling like a teenager. I’m always on the fence with drawstring bags, but this design was on the spot. I use it for work and daily outings being hands free and the bag didn’t weigh me down. The handle is the perfect size to wear on my arm as a purse. I’ve experienced others too small to carry on the arm. The pockets are great for organization and I love the side pockets for my water bottle and other items without sticking out too much. The back zipper pocket is perfect for a cell phone and easy access. I had bought this at full price and saw a couple days later it went on sale. I called Nordstrom customer service and they did a price adjustment over the phone without me having to go in. So EASY! They have earned my business for future purchases for this reason. I’ve been using my bag for over three weeks now and still I’ve it. It’s practical, chic and fits my budget!
