Perry Leather Tote

Needs an internal pocket for keys and cellphone. Beautiful bag just not functional. It would be perfect if there was extra compartments for keys and cellphone to keep things tidy and organized. Designers should think about functionality as well as looks for a working woman

I needed a work tote with a zip compartment for my laptop and I was drawn to this one because of the style and color combination - I ordered it in black with tan interior and a red fob. I measured my laptop to be sure it would fit before ordering. My laptop is 1/2 inch shorter that the width of the bag so I thought it would work perfectly. When it arrived the colors were vibrant and beautiful together. Unfortunately, the materials felt thin and the straps were a bit on the flimsy side. This surprised me as I expected an item titled "Laptop Tote" to be sturdy. In addition, my laptop did not fit all the way inside the zippered compartment because the bag is narrower at the bottom. Measurements should reflect the smallest part of the bag not the largest. It fit at the top but needed to be pushed VERY snugly in order to fit all the way, and the zipper would not close over it. When I picked the bag up with my laptop inside, the straps definitely did not seem as though they would stand the test of time. They were also a bit short and it was not comfortable over my shoulder. I returned this for the Tory Burch Robinson tote and couldn't be happier. It is still fashionable but also made with much stronger and durable (I hope!) materials. The Robinson Tote also has amazing organizational options both inside and outside the bag.

I had been eyeing this bag for over a year and never bit the bullet until recently, and I am SO glad I did!!! I recently started a new job in a business environment where I’d like to look professional and required to take a work laptop everywhere, so needed something that could fit the bill. The laptop is a 14” Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga, so I wasn’t sure whether it would fit since the description says it fits a 13” laptop, fits perfectly!! The thing that impressed me most about this handbag is how well it distributes the weight! Guessing it is because the bag is more wide than it is tall, but it’s incredibly comfortable, even with all of my regular handbag items, 3 lb laptop, power cord, and a water bottle. Have only had it less than a week, so can’t say much for durability yet, but it appears that it will hold up over time. I do honestly wish that there was an inside zipper pocket for phone & small wallet, but it’s a trade off I can take.

I purchased this tote a couple of years ago. It's beautifully made and, of all of the the totes I saw, this one had the necessary pockets and slots for my sunglasses, cell phone, pens, etc. I use it mostly for business and it is so well organized that it eliminates the need to lug around a purse. I was thinking of purchasing another color until I saw that the interior side pockets and slots have been removed from the new design. Why ruin such a great product? Oh, the price remains the same.

Perfect for a laptop bag. Not too bulky.

This is a perfect size tote for me. I’m 5’2 125#. Some may think it’s too large but I like to be able to have more room in a tote/bag than not enough. There is an inside pocket which is the size of tote that zips which is a plus. No other compartments which is a negative. No where to put your phone/keys etc. I guess if you are using as a tote than one might say it doesn’t need those compartments but it sure would be more of a reason to use and love it. I also like the clean look of the tote. My disappointment is regarding the actual material it is made of. No where does it say it is genuine leather on the product but the description does say that it’s leather. It feels like a man made product to look like leather. It’s very lightweight, which is another reason I do not think it’s leather. I would like to know if I’m wrong. I’m sure some people may not even care if it’s leather because it’s a Tory Burch but I do.
