Mellow Thong Sandal (Women)

Even though I could buy 2 Birkenstocks for the same price, this was a worth while purchase. Tory’s Mellow sandal is such beautiful leather & of course the T logo buckle is stunning also. But the reason the purchase is actually worth the price is the toe separator thingy is actually leather & so unbelievably comfortable. Birkenstock version is made from a hard plastic. I love Birkenstock, just not the Giza style. Tory wins hands down on this shoe!

I really really wanted to love these but there’s just something off with the fit. I am usually a 7.5/8 in TB sandals and ordered the 7.5. They were just barely too short but since the strap is adjustable at the buckle, went to the next hole and it let me foot go forward a little more to accommodate the length. But it was too lose then when walking and I felt like I had to pinch my toes together to keep the shoe on because it’s slippery as well, so as someone else previously commented, I did not feel like I could walk normally. I may try the next half size up (8) to see if the original strap setting + longer shoe work out but only if I can’t find anything else in meantime.
