Fragrance story: A mix of sweet and woody balsamic and cedar notes is balanced by the Australian sandalwood at the fragrance's heart. Cultivated from ingredients of the highest quality, Essence of Sandalwood features a smooth formula that melts into skin. This layering oil pairs well with Cosmic Wood Eau de Parfum, Electric Sky Eau de Parfum, Sublime Rose Eau de Parfum, Mystic Geranium Eau de Parfum and Divine Moon Eau de Parfum (all sold separately).

Unexpected gem!
I bought this on a whim in the sale and I’m honestly obsessed. I’d never tried any Tory Burch fragrances before but this sandalwood oil is absolutely gorgeous; warm, creamy and comforting without being overpowering. It reminds me a bit of the scent in the Cecred products. If you love sandalwood, you’ll probably love this too. Such a lovely find!

Nice but subtle.
The sandalwood scent is nice but very very subtle. You will definitely want to layer this with another oil or perfume, and in my opinion if you have to do that then you might as well purchase a whole new scent .

A little Luxury layer
Beautifully presented in a lovely box, the bottle is very small and but you only need a few little drops on neck and wrists or wherever you may layer (or not layer - as it smells nice enough to wear as a personal skin scent) it’s quite citrusy in a way but dries down to a woody deep scent which is comforting and certainly reminds me of sandalwood but a slightly different take on the original sandalwood I’d say.
It lasts fairly well, it DOES boost other fragrances but it can clash with certain fragrances - I’ve got 7 different Le Labo fragrances and it didn’t compliment any of them, or my Whind Rose Saffron. Only my Myrrh and Tonka by Jo M it seems to suit so perhaps it really is a little trick by Tory B to get you to buy the right “match” for this layering oil .so that’s one mark down for its many mis matches as I was hoping it would match at least a few of my le Labo ones, the eucalyptus 20 and santal 33 it kinda suits if you’re Le Labo fan or some of the woody warmer Jo Malone perfumes perhaps
I would be curious to see and smell more of Tory B’s other products

Beautiful
This is so perfect. I layer it with my Tom Ford perfume and it lasts literally all day and I get complimented by so many people. Its such a great gift for any people who loves their perfumes and if you struggle with having long lasting perfumes this will be you're best friend.

I can't smell sandalwood!
I bought this because I love sandalwood. I had been to 2 Space NK shops where the website said I could try it and neither had even heard of the brand. Please update your website to avoid pointless journeys. It's not a bad smell, but more lemons than wood and not at all what I was hoping for from the description.
