Okay, i've been looking for a black tote for about 2 years. I know...you're thinking, "What's wrong with you that you couldn't find a black tote earlier?"...well, I'm picky. I tried other designers, etc...and wanted one for work/play. This one is a perfect size to carry my laptop, tennis shoes or flip flops, as I walk to work, client appointments, etc...in DC, grab some small groceries and such. I also like the logo is only on one side. As I carry it to appointments, I don't like to "push the brand" onto folks as I normally work with nonprofits, gov't agencies, etc...so I simply carry the bag with the logo facing inwards on client appointments and it doesn't scream designer. It's a great fit for me. Perfect size, material can be wiped clean and I have probably about 5 pairs of black patent wedges so this will go great with those as well.

I have had this purse since june, and the plastic is already peeling on the straps. I don't know what is going on, but this bag didn't stand the test of time. Tory Burch really needs to put more quality into the product. I love Tory burch items, but for the price, they just don't seem to last.

I bought this bag for school. I am a college student so I am stuffing my laptop, folders, and notebooks and this bag holds it all! And i don't feel bad about throwing it all around because the nylon is so easy to clean and hides dirt amazing-ly. :)

I loved this tote. I used it all the time, it went with everything, it looked cute. BUT, it started to fall apart in less than a year. I never throw my bags around, I'm very careful with them. Yet the handles started to peel and the corners on the bottom started to rip. Really sad that I had to take it back. I exchanged it for something else but it's just not the same. I loved the tote so much. I'll have to find something else I like.

I was so excited to finally buy this bag for back to school. I commute into the city every day, so I was looking for a sturdy catch-all bag. I have many friends who have had this bag for years and rave about it. I'm not sure if the quality has changed or if my mother is right and I am exceptionally tough on bags, but after I used the bag less than 10 times the seam on the strap where the glue is began to peel. I was so disappointed! I know that the damage will only worsen with use, so I will be so sad when I return the bag. The classic style of the bag is so chic, too! This bag could hold everything I needed for my day-to-day comings and goings, but the more I put in the bag, the harder it was for the bag to fit on my shoulder, which made me wish that the drop in the strap was longer. I would love to purchase this bag again in the future because I truly love the style. Hopefully the quality can be improved (maybe sturdy leather straps?) and the strap can be lengthened.
