my favorite black skirt

I plan to use this skirt on my days off. It is too short for work, but still relatively modest. The material is extremely nice- it is thick, supple, and smooth. It is comfortable to sit on (doesn't itch or make you sweat) and covers everything.

Sizing issues

I really wanted to like this skirt. The material is great, it's not cotton and thin so it won't pill, and it's not textured or patterned so it goes with everything. I wanted to buy it for work because my uniform is all black. Unfortunately the sizing was horrible on this. I tried the UK10, which was big in the waist and it was falling down and not sitting like a high waisted skirt would. Then I tried a UK8 but it was way too tight. Sadly I have to pass on this because the sizing was off. I really wish it would have worked out because it was beautiful. If you try this skirt, size down!!

Love it!!

This skirt is great w/ jet black opague tights and some nice pumps. It's a little short, but that's what gives it that added flavor with the tights.

Pefect Skirt

I purchased this skirt to add to my "Going Back to Work" wardrobe. The fabric of the skirt is a heavy weight and will work great for my attempt to make my wardrobe less boring. I plan on pairing it with a chambray shirt.

neoprene dream!

I love that it is a true high waist, not a drop waist, not a mid rise. color/texture is perfect. length also perfect. I got the 2 and the 4 for a friend.

super cute scuba skirt!

My overall favorite topshop purchase. Fits great and looks adorable! Pleats are super cute & give the skirt a nice flare (exactly like it is on the model). It is so worth it for the price, you won't regret it!
