This skirt looks much better On than pictured on the model. Looks high fashion and much more expensive than the price. However the skirt runs small and the denim has no stretch you must size up at least 2X to get the right fit.. Looks cool with the matching jacket. My favorite purchase from the Nsale.

UNREALISTIC
I "WAS"completely enamored with the Pleated Denim Maxi Skirt from TOPSHOP. Unfortunately, the sizing for this skirt is EXTREMELY unrealistic. I am someone who fluctuates from a size zero to a size 4, however I could not fit either. I orginally ordered the skirt as soon as it became available on July 11, 2024. Soon thereafter I received an email referencing that it was available for pick up. Once I arrived home, I immediately tried the skirt on. Sadly, the skirt was so incredibly snug that I could NOT pull it over my hips. Okay no problem, I will just returned it and size up. The online return process was quick and easy, with an option for in-store return. I thought great! The following day July 12, 2024, I returned the too small size zero and picked up the size 2 which I also ordered online. This time, I tried the skirt on inside the fitting room. Again the skirt did not fit, and honestly it felt tighter than the previous size zero. As I stated earlier, I was enamored with this skirt (LOL)
and did not want to accept defeat🤣 so I thought, "great I will just size up". Needless to say the size up did NOT fit either. I tried ALL of the limited 3 sizes that this skirt is available in. NONE OF THEM FIT!

runs so small!
Runs so small! I ordered it a size up because top shop sizing is funky, and even that was too tight! I would say you need 2-3 sizes up to make this fit. It also smells like fake denim and dye.

Runs hella small with no stretch
The denim is a nice heavy weight fabric. However since there is no stretch to the skirt, fabric is stiff, and there are pleats, this is a stand only skirt if you are curvy and if able to get the skirt over your hips. The slit sits high upper thigh right at a hipster panty line. Concept is nice but execution was bad.
