Long Open Front Cardi

I was looking for an oversized sweater to keep at work. I'm a classic school librarian who loves her cardigans. Topshop's Long Open Front Cardi was such a find. I bought two, one in mustard and the other charcoal grey. Sadly, the charcoal grey was not knitted well at all. Within two weeks, I had all sorts of small finger-sized holes near the seams. The knitting came undone under the arms. It was sad. I gave it to a friend, an avid knitter who repaired it -- giving it a new (used) look that I sort of appreciate. However, this mustard-colored sweater was a totally different ball game. The yarn is softer. The knitting is solid. I don't have any snags or tears. It's like two different brands and quality of yarns were used for the two sweaters. Interesting enough. I paid $25 more for the charcoal gray one. I highly recommend this sweater in mustard. I get lots of compliments.
