What it is: An eyeshadow palette filled with nine different hues that help you flaunt your natural side.
What it does: These eyeshadows feature an updated formula that includes the brand's exclusive coconut butter–infused formula for creamier and more comfortable wear. The nine matte, satin and shimmer hues range from soft and pretty to slightly sexy, so you can wear them from coffee to cocktails. The richly pigmented hues offer true color payoff. Each shade delivers silky-smooth color that blends effortlessly. An included Glamour Guide with three looks helps get you started. Oversized base shades ensure you won't run out of your staples. They even smell like coconut.
How to use: Apply Shadow Insurance first to intensify color & lock down shadows for 24+ hours. Sculpt with matte shades and add shimmers for more fun, glamour and dimension. Press shimmer shades onto lid with finger or a flat, dense brush for an intense look, or dust them on with a fluffy brush for a softer, more ethereal look. Buff matte shades with a fluffy blender brush in the crease and outer corner to add depth. Apply brighter shadows to inner corner.

I’ve purchased this palette twice- it’s great to have both matte and pearl colors. They also smell amazing. Great pigment. I needed colors with a more brown/neutral hue, these are perfect. The palette is also very pretty!

Bad Packaging, Harmful Ingredients, No Cruelty Free Cert
PACKAGING: Ridiculously Heavy, Impractical, Expensive, & Dated I prefer the old packaging (light-weight, firm & durable cardboard?). The lace, gold & pink is also too Victorian & feminine. The esthetic is too specific & doesn't speak to a broad consumer base. INGREDIENTS Talc: A potential carcinogen (cancer causing substance), used to absorb oil/moisture & increase staying power. However, other products have staying power without it - there are effective substitutes. Coumarin: Can cause allergic reactions, breakouts & liver toxicity (it's absorbed directly into skin & 'processed' in the liver). All coumarin does is provide a sweet, nutty, vanilla scent. It's utterly useless in makeup & is an unnecessary risk to skin & health. Fragrance/Parfum: Why? Upon opening this container, I was slapped with a strong, sweet, perfume. This can cause allergic reactions, breakouts, & toxicity. Perhaps it was added to try to legitimize their 'coco-butter infused' claims? Regardless, it's very unpleasant for those who want mild/unscented products & is an unnecessary risk. NO CRUELTY-FREE CERTIFICATION Too Faced claims to be cruelty free, however, with no cert/label this is meaningless & untrustworthy. Too Faced should have a Leaping Bunny Cert. COLOR CHANGES Nude Beach (shimmer) was a perfect base color - not too light/dark, not too pink. It was changed to the darker Strip Poker. It has a pinkish hue upon application that I don't like. I do like that it's matte - a matte version of Nude Beach would be perfect. The neutral light taupe Velvet Revolver was changed to the darker caramel-ish Cashmere Bunny. I like both colors & prefer both in the compact rather than the pink-ish 'Push-up'. If I want pink, I'll get a pink pallet. PROS Blendable, minor fallout, good staying power, good pigment, easing to use, nice natural colors for everyday look.

Great case, nice colors, just too frosted
These are really nice colors, the only problem is that some of them are highly frosted. Not just a shimmer, but majorly frosted. If you have even a hint of a wrinkle (or more, like me) in your eyes, this will magnify that tremendously. The matte shades aren't bad, but my favorite colors are the frosted ones. Still on the hunt for a great palette with just a little shimmer instead of heavy frost.

Pretty colors but very shimmery
Pretty colors but way to shimmery for me to wear to work as a professional in the healthcare industry. I like a little shimmer but this is too much--would be good for night or going out. Also, the compact is HEAVY because the lid is all glass and very thick and not the easiest clasp to open. Not the kind of compact I want to toss into my makeup bag for travel, unfortunately. I am returning.

Great pigmentation
I wasn’t expecting too much of it and was happily surprised at how pigmented they are, a little goes a long way. The only thing I don’t like is the formula seems to produce a lot of fallout.

always go back to this palette
Over the years I always end up going back to this palette since it was in cardboard packaging. The tones work perfect and blend so effortlessly and are perfect for everyday. I honestly don’t know what I will do if they discontinue this palette because I don’t really like the other palettes from this brand.

fragrance
I really like the colors but there is a fragrance that is almost like baby powder and I did not expect it in an eyeshadow. Unfortunately not using the palette.
