'Caldes' Linen Wedge Sandal (Women)

I wear an 8 in a medium width and found the sole length & width of this shoe fit just fine, however the area over the toes is a little snug. I am keeping the shoes as it is more a matter of being able to see the edge of my big toe(nail) pressing the underside of the fabric than of comfort. I really like the detail of the macrame piece at the shoes' front edge, the higher placement of the strap & the elastic band which holds the buckle in place but allows the strap to give when you walk, and the "peep heel;" the design is just very well thought out, giving them an elegant vintage look! Lastly, one feature I found unique is the slightly "weighted" feel of the wedge itself - overall, the shoe feels as though they will last for years!

These turned out so much better than I anticipated. I bought the natural in 38 and 39. Keeping the 39 and I'm normally a 7.5 - 8. I held them up sole to sole and the difference was minuscule. Less than a 1/8". I love the 2-1/2" wedge. Enough of a heel but so much more comfy than my 3-1/2" wedges. And the strap is so helpful for those of us with narrow heels. I'm not into the black or red, but I'll buy more if they get different colors.

As an avid wearer of "flats," I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable Calden's were, especially on my wide feet. I wore these right out of the box to my daughter's graduation and several hours thereafter...no blisters!! I highly recommend these to anyone wanting a comfortable pair of wedges.

I LOVE this espadrille. The perfect bright red, with a wedge heel that is tall enough to be flattering yet super comfortable & walkable. I'll be wearing it all summer with shorts, dresses and jeans! Perfect for days when you want more polish but don't have your pedicure polished. Get it quick, before it's gone. Comfy 2 1/2" wedge heels are hard to find. Please carry this every summer, Nordstrom!

I love these espadrilles! Why: the mid-heel height means I can actually walk in them; the ankle strap keeps them securely on my feet; the cushioned footbed makes them very comfortable; the open sides gives them a slim, flattering profile; the nude color (I bought Stone) blends with my skin color and helps to elongate my legs; and the 1/8" rubber sole keeps the rope trim away from wet pavement.
