'Classic' Crochet Slip-On

I originally wanted this shoe in the cream but they were sold out so I ordered the black. The black was backordered but it was worth the wait! They're very unique. They go great with shorts, cropped jeans or a casual dress or skirt. I get many compliments. I was at the mall last week when a woman stopped me to say how much she loved my shoes and where did I get them (luckily there was a Nordstrom in the mall!). Followed the reviews and ordered a half size small (I wear a size 10 and I ordered a 9.5) and they fit perfectly. Also very comfortable--no chafing or blisters the first time wearing. Great shoe and a great cause!

as an owner of many pairs of Tom's, I was excited to place a preorder for this style as it's one I did not have and they look so cute. I ordered my normal "Tom's size". They came today and they are too long. I measured them heel to heel against my other Tom's, and they are definitely much longer. Disappointed for sure. They are cute, but I also noticed that there is no arch support in these like my other pairs and that they are also slippery on the sole. Super disappointing.

OK, this is going to be a review of how much I love Nordstrom as much as a review of how much I love TOMS! I've always wondered - does everyone have that ONE particular brand of shoes that fits them to a tee? For me, that would be TOMS! I've purchased at least a dozen pair from Nordstrom over the last 3 or 4 years! This is my second pair of beige Crochet Classics. I love their "lacy" look! They work very nicely when I need to "dress it up" a little! Now, here's why I LOVE Nordstrom: I had polio when I was one year old. As a result, I wear a different shoe size on each foot. I'm limited to flat shoes that wrap snugly around my foot. Now, I'm not complaining. I'm able to do just about anything I want! I'm blessed! But, shoe buying used to be an absolute nightmare! In TOMS, a size 6 (left) and 8 (right) are the PERFECT fit, every single time! It's wonderful to be able to order both of my sizes online and know, without fail, they will fit! So, why do I ALWAYS buy shoes from Nordstrom? About 15 years ago, I learned of Nordstrom's "Two-Size" policy. They allow me to purchase my two shoes (each a different size) as one pair. I'm now able to buy shoes like a "normal person", even online! Literally a life-changer! It's just about the most precious gift I've ever received! I can never thank Nordstrom enough for allowing me to buy my shoes just like everyone else! I hope some of the policy-makers at Nordstrom will see this. I've thanked the sales people and the managers at various stores many, many times. But, it never seems enough to convey the impact Nordstrom has had on my life! Anne Cink The Villages, FL

ORDER A HALF SIZE DOWN! do it!! I was one of those skeptics who ordered her true size thinking they couldn't be that big. I am a perfect 8.5, never bigger never smaller. But in these I am an 8 (keep in mind I have NO other size 8 shoes) so these run big! I had to return the 8.5s, because once I got the 8s I knew thats how they should fit. These are my first pair of toms, but please note that these toms do NOT fit like the cloth toms. My friend has the classic cloth's in 8m and they felt extremely tight when I put them on, so that is why I at first thought I needed an 8.5. But not in these! The crochet fabric is hole-y so it gives your foot a lot more extra room than other toms do. So make sure you heed to the reviews and order a 1/2 size down. Other than that, I love these shoes. I have the black, and they are perfect, as they are so versatile, while still looking summery at the same time. Buy these! I used to think toms were ugly and not for me, but these proved me wrong!

Got these in the beginning of March and probably have worn them a total of 3 weeks off and on. Loved how the shoe formed to my feet. I have wide feet and these fit perfectly! By the 2nd week of using them I noticed that parts of the crochet started to come undone. Parts of string here and there. I'm going to stop using them for fear of them ripping. I've used them at the beach and walk in stores and sidewalks. Not like I skateboard in them or anything like that. No clue what's causing them to snag. Will return them for exchange of the normal kinds. Bummer. I love these ones. Goes with jeans, capri's, yoga pants... dang it.

Picked these up today! While they are slip-ons they do take a little more of a thumb-to-heel pull on than the classic toms. The cream is just beautiful with a slight shimmer/shine to the crocheted thread. The toes are lined and so is the heel while the body of the shoe is see through. I purchased these in an eight (same size I have purchased in the classics) and they fit perfectly, not sure how much they will stretch.
