Tommy John

Tommy John was founded in 2008 by Tom Patterson, who was tired of wearing underwear that got hung up in too many places he'd rather not mention. In designing his products, he studied human movement, used innovative fabrics and tweaked the fit down to the placement of the last stitch. Avid TJ buyer but mainly

Avid TJ buyer but mainly underwear or lounge or bedtime wear. Normally buy a large top and it is big but for sleep it is fine. First time buying polos so I figured a Medium would be good. Love the feel but in retrospect would have preferred the Large. I am 5” 11” and weigh 178 and a 35” waist.

Strait off, I don’t care

Strait off, I don’t care for the classic ribbed collar. — they get curls in them either which way. These sort of collars are generally exclusive with lower end retainers.

Questionable quality

I was initially impressed by the quality of the material. After 3 washes the shirt has started to pill up and is very noticeable. I'm disappointed that this has happened as I will likely not wear the shirt again.

Very Comfortable, but . . . .

The Polo is super comfortable and I love the color, but it got a snag on the first wearing. No idea how it happened, but it is discouraging because most of my shirts that I have had for years have never gotten a snag . . . and the ones that have, I can explain by then getting caught on something.
