Boyfriend Shirt Cover-Up

I purchased this in January of 2013 and loved it when it arrived. Super cute, comfortable and a good length. But I only wore last summer a handful of times, and it is permanently stained from sunscreen. It stained yellow and I tried soaking, pre-spotting and bleaching and nothing will get rid of these "sunscreen stains". Very disappointed considering I think this is a relatively expensive cover up.

I was really excited to get this, but it was a fail. It's much, much more sheer than this model picture really shows. That downgrades it a bit for me, cause I was thinking it would look like the most adorable beachy dress/cover up. Definitely not even slightly dress-like. The second issue I took was the shape/texture. It's a rough/semi thick/zero stretch material, so the sleeves feel a little tight rolled up to your elbows (and it just looks stupid with the sleeves down). Not to mention - tight/no stretch sleeves plus damp body? Really? The final issue I had with it is really hard to put into words. I know this is called the Boyfriend Shirt. I know it's supposed to look like you threw on your boyfriend/husband's work shirt and it magically became the cutest, sexiest thing. But in reality it looks more like you put on your dad's 20 year old shirt that's been sitting in the back of his closet. It looks awkward and sad.

I first saw this coverup online and because of the reviews, I decided to order this online. The cut is fitted and not boxy. The length is perfect. The material is gauzy and lightweight. I roll the sleeves up. It is such a cute coverup over my bathing suits. I am taking it to Cancun with me next month. For reference, I am 5'6" , 127 lbs, 34D, and the small was right on.

I ordered my normal size and it fits perfect. The length hits me just at the thighs in the back and while it's loose fitting, the overall effect is slimming. The material is thin and lets a bit of the swimsuit show through, perfect for summer. Love this! I'll probably also wear with skinny jeans and a large belt this summer over a tank. (fyi- I'm 5'4" 125lbs and ordered a small)

I purchased this in the store and love it. The fit is almost perfect ... I'm tall & lean and purchased my normal size ... if you want it to be slightly big, order the next size up. The shirt is somewhat fitted around the waist, but doesn't squeeze you or feel uncomfortable when you sit. It is a light-weight linen fabric and will not fully protect you from the sun like a UV shirt does.

I wore it on 2 beach trips and it didn't mix well with my sunscreen apparently. It turned yellow. I washed it and followed the instructions carefully but the yellow didn't come out.
