T Icon Reversible Soft Grain Leather Belt

I love the simplicity of this "if you know, you know" let. The highly polished buckle really stands out and is what drives the price. The leather is nice and soft but not sure it is much better than any other leather - at least visually. Mine did not come with a dust bag for some reason. If one size is Dark Navy, I can't tell a difference. Now, for those looking in vain for a size 80 (US 32), you CAN go up a size to 85 (US 34). Note that TF recommends you add FOUR to your normal pant size rather than two. FYI, I'm a size 30 pant/32 belt. There are 5 holes usable holes and you could add more with a leather hole punch. The TF belt size is measured from the buckle pin to the middle hole (#3 of 5). I use the middle hole of 5 on all my normal buckle belts. On a size 80, the middle hole is about 31.5" from the buckle pin and 33.5" on an 85. Each hole is about 1 inch apart. When I wore the 85, I needed to use the last (#5) or second to last (#4) hole. On the 80, I needed to use the first or second hole giving me no extra room If I ever gained weight. Even though the larger size means more overlap, it's really not that much or noticeable. To find your size, measure from the buckle bar to the hole you use on your normal buckle belt. For me, this is exactly 32 inches (81.28 cm) on a size 32 belt (middle hole). For reference, the holes on the 85 are as follows 1=35.5", 2=34.5", 3=33.5" (85 cm), 4=32.5", 5=31.5". Add or subtract 2" for each size (e.g., 80 -2, 85 +0, 90 +2, 95 +4, 100 +6, etc.) My only complaint with TF is they don't sell straps alone. What's the point of an interchangeable leather belt if you have to buy a new buckle if you only want other colors?! The closest option I could find was the 38mm Hemes strap for $600.
