Private Blend Tobacco Oud Eau de Parfum

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one from TOM FORD! He is so different with everything he does! I am, WAS, a fan of Jo Malone, I have 10 colognes from her but this one TOPS them all! I love different, not what everyone is wearing. This one reminds me of COCO Chanel , when she was dressed to the nine with the mink wrapped around her. Yes, it's strong but it calms down . I feel like I'm living in Manhattan, with my mink in the 1950's smelling so soft with a kick. I use to smoke& there is no tobacco smell to this. It is a dark/seduction/sexy smell that I have never smelled. OUD Wood was my 2nd choice but Tobacco Oud won me!!! I love it so much I bought the bigger one. I get so many compliments when I have it on.

I love Tobacco Vanile and read reviews that said Tobacco Oud was even better. Some reviews described it as "smoking a cigar and drinking whisky while wearing a leather coat in a pine forest" which sounds like my ideal activity so I pulled the trigger. I have been wearing it for a few hours and can't stand it. Its more "old lady chain smoker who is attempting to cover the smell of her habit with overly floral perfume". Fragrances however are a personal preference so I suggest smelling it for yourself. Nordstrom was great, shipped fast and due to their outstanding customer service I will be returning it soon.

Thankfully we got a sample of this and didn't purchase it beforehand. The scent was so horrid, it reminded me of old tobacco and heavy musk rolled into one. My husband and I drove 100 miles in the car and at the first turnoff of the freeway, I took out a wet wipe and cleaned off his throat where he sprayed it. It stunk up the whole car and gave me a headache and nausea the rest of the trip. The odor is offensive, extremely strong, and something he would never buy. He said he didn't like it and neither did I. A trip from the neighborhood skunk at night would have smelled better. UGH....

excellent blend. high quality ingredients as usual. sweet to me much like black orchid. yet something underneath the honey. my father passed when i was only a teen. he smoked. boy he smoked. i feel comfortable in this heady scent because it brings me to my father's smell. i do pick up tobacco in it. lightly(not a marlboro red). i miss my dad. i am given a combo of he and i, again at a ball game of mine. sweet perfume of summer nights and a cigarette lingering on a street corner as you walk by. riding in the old datsun truck. into the sunset. this perfume is evenings' and strong memories and sweet love and your favorite men and the best jazz bar in baltimore or a great ball game or a long walk home from the bar on a hot miami night at 4am. a beautiful tobacco note with the lush sweetness of a perfume. wow. if you've worn or liked strong scents similar to EL spellbound i highly recommend this. i also recommend smelling first, hence the title.
