Simply Sexy
I am super picky with fragrance. I would go years without wearing perfume if I could not find just the right one. I have found Tom Ford's private blends to "the one" over and over again. I normally like scents that are unisex- fruity but woodsy and oriental. My favorite winter scent is Cuir de Ruisse by Chanel- a scent she developed based on how her Russian lover smelled mixed with the scent of leather. I also wear Tom Ford's Azure Lime and have reviewed it online as unisex as well. I am writing all of this background info because Santal Blush is the first scent I've ever bought that I would decidedly categorize as more "feminine" than "masculine." I think the warmth and creamy complex of the scent (floral and spicy woods) create almost a primal, modern, earthy aura. This is the scent for women who are like me and don't like sweet, girly smells but want something their man can't borrow. It is feminine but not coy or girly like Prada Candy for example. (Which I cannot stand.) It is womanly- all woman. It is meant for a confident, sophisticated woman who is just as comfortable being strong as she is feminine. I don't know why but I envision a woman with some curves, whose not in her 20s, works hard but the world still thinks she's sexy without her having to flaunt it. Also, the lasting power of this scent is unlike any other that I own, including other Tom Ford scents. I smell it on my clothes at the end of the day which is a first for me. And unlike a lot of scents, it does not really "weaken" or smell like a weaker version of what you sprayed on earlier in the morning. It smells just as complex in the evening after 12 hours. I find myself deeply inhaling it on the drive home sometimes because I just cannot get enough.

Too much cumin
First of all let me say that I love warm and spicy scents. I was looking to find a replacement for the original Omnia by Bvlgari which has sadly been discontinued. Absolutely LOVED that scent. A wonderful combination of fresh spicy and warm spicy....it was just perfect. Santal Blush has an interesting dry spicy start...but the dry down for me was ALL cumin.....ugh....not one of my favorite smells....not fresh at all.... On the plus side, if this fragrance does work for you, the scent lasts for hours. Perfume is such a personal thing and this may smell amazing on someone else....just not on me.

Tom Ford Santal Blush
I normally don't write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this one. This perfume is the nicest scent I've ever smelled. It's notes are so unique. It is also versatile--it is soft enough for day, and sensuous enough for evening. I literally gave away all my other perfumes. It is very pricey, but well worth the money, in my opinion.

Warm and Delicious
I have had a very hard time finding something I love since Opium changed their formula. You can ask any of my friends; I have been on a dedicated search through department stores, fragrance specialty stores, beauty stores, spas, and even paid for samples of perfumes online based on the description. The issue I have had with every one I've tried, those that I even liked, is even when the initial fragrance feels right, I don't like the dry down. Must EVERY warm, spicy fragrance end up smelling like vanilla? I thought the answer in the modern perfume world was yes, until I stumbled across Santal Blush at my local Nordy's. Hallelujah!!!
I am in love with this fragrance! It's a little spicy, a little woody, and a whole lot of warmly sexy, while still managing to be soft and feminine. Be gentle. A little goes a long way.
Bless you, Tom Ford! Any chance there will be body lotion in the future?

Exquisite & Exotic!
Santal Blush is just a very exquisite, soft not too strong, exotic perfume. It has a soft wood like, spicy scent, kinda of earthy but not floral and definitely not citrusy which I dislike. It's a very elegant and glamorous perfume! I absolutely love it, you will not be disappointed!
