Noir Extreme Eau de Parfum

I'm a woman, and I got this as a sample with my Sephora order. I usually give my fiance the samples of cologne that I receive, but I always spray them on myself to see what they smell like so that I can recommend which one I think he should wear. Once I sprayed this on my wrist, I could NOT stop smelling it! It smells amazing, so amazing that I've been spraying it on myself to wear because I love it so much..... like to the point where I'm apprehensive to wash the clothes I spray it on because I know I just have a tiny sample that won't last very long. It just smells so sophisticated and sensual. Now, I'm not a scent expert by any means, so this may sound ignorant or derisive, but the scent reminds me of my favorite Bath & Body Works candle, which is a mahogany teakwood scent, except this parfum is more complex and has a spicy/sweet side mixed with other notes that I can't pinpoint. Now, normally I can't stand sweet notes, but this parfum is just a subtle sweetness and it's not the main component; it just adds to the complexity (for comparison, I think YSL Black Opium smells too sweet). All of the scent notes just blend in so effortlessly. I love it. Also, the scent lingers forever. I haven't smelled anything so alluring and captivating in a long, long time. I just wish it wasn't so expensive, I was SO sad when my sample ran out :( :(

This is my first foray into a legitimate Men's cologne so take this review with a grain of salt.... or, a salt spray if you will for all you Scent Savants out there (I crack my self up... Is Salt cologne a thing? I'd love to smell like a Mall Pretzel Shack - I'd be irresistible). TF Noir Extreme Eau de Parfum is a beautiful, rich, and strong masculine smell. Oriental and woodsy scent with a palpable sweetness coming through -- no florals in this scent from how I can tell. When TF says it's extreme, they mean it's EXTREME. The smell is very strong, but not in a sense that it would make being in your immediate smelling range intolerable. First impressions: there's a deep sweetness to, but it's counter balanced well that it doesn't come off as syrupy. It's followed up by a bit of spice and woody tone made up of strong hints of Vanilla, Sandalwood, and Amber. My favorite part is trying to find the hints of the Pistachio Ice Cream they've mixed into the concoction. The staying power is crazy -- I've never had a cologne that's lasted this long on my skin before. I put it on in the morning after a shower on my pulse points (neck and wrists). 3 days and 3-4 showers later, I can still smell a faint bit of it on my wrists. What kind of witch magic is this Tom Ford? You handsome-devil you. I will likely use this scent to impress a date or going out at night. It's pretty rich, warm, and bold. In my personal opinion, I would wear this suited up or dressed nice during the Fall/Winter months. To me, it seems a little bit bold, warm, and dark to put on during hot/sticky months of Summer, and a little too sensual to wear at work for your coworkers. This is definitely the scent you would wear to impress a significant other. Looking forward to trying other TF Private label scents like Tobacco Vanille, or Tuscan Leather.

You cannot go wrong with this scent, this is my second "go to" behind Creed Aventus. I don't know how anyone could say anything negative about this scent, its very masculine, unique, rare and smells awesome. Im a blue color worker and this goes great in the office as well as out in the city nights. Tom Ford is a premium brand and this scent is a great choice for any guy in 2019 and beyond. Dont confuse yourself with all these reviews, scent is about YOU and what YOU and your partner (if you haven) personally enjoy. Im a cologne / parfum snob and only wear the best! This is a great scent for you or a loved one. Smell it and if you love as much as I do, buy it!
