This nail tech LOVES it!
I recently bought "Bitter B*tch" from Tom Ford's line of nail polishes. I love dark colors, as they accentuate my long nails and make it really feel like a manicure happened. As a nail tech, nail polishes usually don't last over 2 days on my nails without peeling off and chipping and melting at the edges. Let me tell you that this polish has been on already for 4 days and the only chip I got was from the spot where I broke my nail. The rest has been on like cement and I get CRAZY amounts of compliments on the color. The first coat looked streaky when applied, but once the second coat came on, I immediately fell in love with the color. It does not darken or fade over time, nor does it shrink (bound to happen with darker colors). Love love love this polish, will be buying more AND recommending to all!

Quality of nail polish is excellent BUT
for $35 Tom Ford should also put in consideration the quality of the bottle. The top broke off when i was closing it, causing it to spatter and spill on the foot of my coffee table, the carpet and a few spots on the couch. :(

Not high quality polish
I'm what I'd call a nail polish collector - I have a very healthy collection of polishes from all brands including Chanel, Dior, Deborah Lippmann and then more boutique brands like Rescue Beauty, Cult Nails and Smith & Cult. I saw many reviews on blogs for the Tom Ford polishes and went ahead and purchased two recently - Bitter B*tch and Toasted Sugar. Toasted Sugar was fine, not special but fine however Bitter B*tch was a streaky mess. First coat stunned me but I thought ok, this might look better with the second and while it was passable if you didn't look closely it was still incredibly streaky. Wear has been fine, I'm three days in with just the most minor of edge wear but even so, I think I'd go for a Lippmann polish before buying another Tom Ford polish.

Very disappointing
It chips.
It chips on the same day I put it on.
It chips faster than any other cheaper nail polish I have. For the money I paid, I expected it to last a least a couple of days. But hours after I put it on, it is ruined. I tried with and without base and top coat, and it makes no difference. After reading the reviews it seemed I had finally found a good one, but it was not the case.
I won't compare to other nail polish I have, but I have cheaper and just as expensive ones that worked better.
Also I would like to ask that I got the color Bitter B itch (funny Nordstrom does not let me write the color!). It is just a dark brown. Maybe my monitor didn't help, but I thought it had a touch of purple, but it doesn't. Also, with a color like that, all the chipping is even more noticeable.
I DO NOT recommend this polish.

streaky and not enough coverage
I got Show Me The Pink, and Pink Crush and I like the colors but was disappointed with the formula. These two were my first Tom Ford nail polish purchases...other high-end nail polish brands I love are Dior and Chanel and Deborah Lippmann. I'm definitely not opposed to splurging on nail polish. But I feel like the value just isn't up to par with Tom Ford.
Both colors were obviously meant to be opaque (because they're very streaky so you can't wear them sheer) but the polish isn't opaque enough to hide the streaks. I could still see streaks after 3 coats. The streakiness and coverage feels like something I would expect from a grocery store or drugstore brand - not a high end brand.
For $35/bottle, I feel like they should be able to make a beautifully smooth, self-leveling, one-coater. I bought Deborah Lippmann Love Story at the same time when I bought these, and the Deborah Lippmann Love Story polish was just that - a smooth, self-leveling, one-coater.
The only reason I didn't return these two colors is because I do like the shades. They're both flattering for my skin tone, and I have trouble finding flattering nudes so I didn't want to keep looking. I have light/medium skin with lots of warm peach undertones. I find most nude polishes look too gray on me, but these colors don't have that problem at all. I like the colors, when I have the patience and time for 3 coats of color + a leveling top coat that smooths out some of the streaks (like Zoya Armor) + a fast dry top coat because Zoya Armor dries so slow. I just don't usually have the patience for 5 coats of anything. So I don't wear them very much.

wonderful treat
I just bought four colors of Tom Ford nail lacquer. Smoke red, Plum Noir, Viper, and African Violet. Oh, my goodness...they are WOW. I love Chanel nail polish, and have bought it for years, but these colors from Tom Ford are exceptional. They go on beautifully, and the colors are so gorgeous. Every woman should pamper herself with these lacquers. I have never had a Tom Ford product before, and this is just the best surprise. You will not be disappointed, and thank you Nordstroms for introducing this product to me.
