Clutch size--what a great idea! With today's clutches, slimmer purses and petit evening bags, Tom Ford's clutch size makes perfect sense. TF's full size lipstick is 3 grams at $50, the clutch size is 2 grams at $32, and the mini size is 1 gram usually GWP. For people who obsess about price per gram, there is negligible difference between the full size ($16.67 per gram) and clutch size ($16.00 per gram). Since I never use up an entire lipstick before moving on to something new, I'd much rather pay $32 and use the entire product than $50 and toss 1/3 to 1/2 of it away. I purchased a gorgeous selection of pinks: Patrick, John, Michael, and Giacomo and have been very pleased with the overall quality. I have über dry lips and find many brands to be drying, but I've never been disappointed with Tom Ford lipstick. A smooth satin finish, richly pigmented colors, non-drying formula that last for hours, a convenient purse-friendly size---what's not to love about all of that? I think coming up with this concept was sheer brilliance, but then we all know Tom Ford is a genius.

I ordered this lipstick because all the colors look so vibrant and beautiful. When I received the lipstick it was literally a sample size lipstick. This was my first Tom Ford lipstick - I don't know maybe they are all sample sizes, But I was really disappointed at the size of the tube and will be returning it.

I bought the coral color, Adriano with high hopes. This was my first high-end lipstick purchase. It was not opaque. It took a few passes to completely cover my lips. Because I had to apply more to get full pigmentation, the product settled into my lip lines. The formula was very creamy. At this price point, I was expecting much more. The lack of pigmentation was really surprising to me, especially after reading positive reviews of this shade. Also, I'm not going to excuse the creamy formula for settling into lip lines. Urban Decay Revolution lipsticks are extremely creamy and those do not settle or bleed on me. (Plus they're $22 for a full size product.) F- would not buy again.

I am falling in Love with ...Lips & Boys! The color I bought was Orlando. He is a light shimmer with a very light touch of beige and Champagne. You call the color, it looks just like the pic. I wish they would say what the color is when you click on it, like has blah blah colors..etc... It measures 2.5" in the tube but has a lot of lipstick. He is a miniature of big sister ;) The color goes on fantastic...smooth and doesn't turn into a funky color when it starts to fade off. That is the passing test for me! I think the name of the lipsticks is so COOL too! I am going back for more colors! The color texture is expensive in its look! Tiny bit of shimmer in what you sometimes want in a lipstick. It makes you feel YOUNG...ALIVE...HAPPY...RICH!!!

i have purchased 7 shades in Luciano, Alejandro, Julian, Patrick, Michael, Cooper and Pablo. They're all lovely colors and I think they really go well with my skintone (NC25-NC30), but they are super tiny and the bullets are very skinny, I'm worried that they'll break or bend and start smudging on the sides. I returned Alejandro, Pablo, and Cooper back to Nordstrom today. Luciano is almost the same color as Alejandro, but it was much creamier, so that's why I kept it and returned Alejandro. Julian is probably my favorite shade, on me it looks like a milky mauvey-pink. Michael and Patrick are great, if you love peachy-pinks and pinkish corals, but they're pretty common shades and you can easily find a dupe for them for a much cheaper price. Overall I think they're great lipstick, they're very creamy and feel amazing on the lips. If you're someone who cannot finish an entire bullet of lipstick, then these mini lipsticks are perfect for you. If you want to try tom ford, but don't want to spend $50 on the full size, then I recommend these especially since there are so many shades to choose from, you'll definitely find one that's perfect for you.
