Good looking shoe with quality issues

Bought these in 14 instead of 15 because many reviews suggested they run big. Even the 15 was too tight in the toe box. These are narrow all around. Nice looking shoe but this pair had a sever quality issue. When taking off the shoe and applying pressure, the heal completely separated. It looks like these are glued to the sole and the adhesive completely failed. I’m so lucky this happened as I was trying them on vs at a wedding. I’ve never seen this before, let alone a $450 shoe. Returned and purchased AE park ave cap toe.

worn damaged shoes

Would expect way more for $450 shoes from Nordstrom. Obviously worn with bad creases on the toe and bottoms scuffed also damaged leather. Frustrating and Nordstrom should not be selling these. Quality control?
