I was looking for a reliable everyday watch with classic looks. The Timex Weekender New England is perfect. Great looks and keeps great time.

I like the simplicity of the weekender. The strap is a little long for my tiny wrist though.

Excellent watch! I bought it for my wife and she loves the size and the classic, simple face.

I feel the strap is a little brittle and am worried it will not last long. Does not feel like a quality leather strap.

I admit I bought this

I admit I bought this watch for myself because I like 34mm and 36mm size watches. I have many of the 34mm Marlin watches and they are perfect. I also like the 37mm/38mm Weekender watches for their basic good looks and simplicity. This watch is no different. Beautifully designed, clean, readable, simple white face. My only disappointment is that it does not have Indiglo, one of the features I like best on the Weekenders. I have not tested the luminous hands. Altogether tho it is still a five star watch.
