Timberland
The mission of Timberland is to inspire and equip the world to step outside, work together and make it better. Founded in 1952 in Boston, the company is best known for its iconic "original yellow boot," which debuted in 1973. Those waterproof leather boots set new standards for craftsmanship, durability and protection—and still embody the spirit of all Timberland shoes made today.

I have bought these boots a couple of times.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a mechanic so I get diesel, fuel, coolant and oil on these boots and they have yet to fail me. Every pair that I have purchased have been comfortable from day one. As long as I'm a mechanic I would never buy another pair. Great product.

Timberland, make this right.
Extremely disappointed. Began to deteriorate soon after purchase. Customer service was distinctly unhelpful, still has not responded to make this right. Do not buy these boots, as the quality is poor. Do not buy from Timberland, as they will not fix their mistakes.

EMS REVIEW AFTER 3 YEARS
I bought these boots 3 years ago for my first EMS job. After all this time and all the changes in weather, NEVER have my feet stunk or felt uncomfortable. You'll definitely get your use out of these!

So comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased and used this style boot at work for the past 9 years. I find them very comfortable and the leather supple right from Day 1. I recommend these to anyone who wants reliability, durability in a basic designed boot.

Comfortable, but quality control needs help
I've purchased four pairs of these boots over the years and I keep going back to them because they are so comfortable from day one. Other boots tend to rub my ankles raw. That said, there are some issues that I'll point out. If these could be changed, this boot would get more stars. Quality control for this model is bad. I've ordered online and gone into the store and the plastic heel under the insole isn't always aligned properly. You can't change it because it's glued in that way. Sometimes it would poke one side of my foot or the other, or sometimes it would just add all sorts of extra pressure against the plantar tendon. The pair that I ordered online I had to send back for an exchange, and several pairs that stepped into in the store I just left and let the manager know they should exchange themselves. I went back to the store to buy when they had a new pair in that was properly built. Maybe that's why do many people are complaining that their feet are hurting... I would never buy online. And as soon as you step in, it better feel right or you should wait. The second complaint that I have is that the eyelets are made of plastic. I can get the soles on these boots to last for several years, but the plastic eyelets bust apart in six months or less consistently. Even when I moved to an office job on the mine site, they still failed in less than six months. Timberland! I'll pay a little more if you can put metal eyelets in! Don't skimp on that! Third for thought. If you're in a lot of mud, don't smash your heel into the ground trying to get the mud off your boot. It's not good for your knees, and apparently it's not good for the boot. Use a boot brush or mud scraper. The heel of the sole of my first pair separated after the first winter because of the abuse. Overall, these are the boots I go to. Just need to be aware of the quirks.

Absolutely love these ridiculously comfortable boots
The lightest, and most comfortable work boots I've ever worn. Hope they never stop making these... they're perfect.
