Trim Fit Heathered Fleece Zip Hoodie

I don't understand how this sweatshirt is getting five-star reviews all over the place. It's okay, but really? This is your perfect sweatshirt? Maybe we got different sweatshirts. Mine: -Is a little too short -Has a (flimsy) zipper on the wrong side (typically men's clothing has the zipper on the right side) -Has really shallow (read: worthless) pockets However, the color looks good, it fits in most dimensions, and as others have commented, it's not too bulky. There are pluses, there are minuses, and I don't want to go through the hassle to return it and find another one. This is the most three-star a sweatshirt could be.

This was a gift for my husband who likes to dress casually and while I try to encourage him to be more stylish he prefers a more traditional look. This hoodie falls somewhere in-between. We haven't washed it yet so I cannot comment on that aspect but it's soft enough and a great casual fit.

Loved the 'dirty lavender' color, the workmanship just fine, but pay attention to that 'Trim Fit!' It really means what it says. I ordered XXL, which in retrospect combined with trim fit, is an oxymoron. It was waaaaay to small. Plenty long, but would fit a very modest waistline. Fortunately I had a beanpole friend whose birthday was at hand, so he loved this Nordstrom lightweight hoodie for his gift. Meanwhile, I am wondering howmany X's it would take to fit my farm boy frame?

I was looking for a good hooded sweatshirt that wasn't too heavy or bulky. No reason to dress like we're in the 90's anymore, right? I did quite a bit of reviewing and decided to buy this one and couldn't be happier. I think the fit is great. Some reviews on this website seem to think it is too tight, but I just don't think that is true. It is a little more trim through the waist (and maybe a little in the arms too) but not so much that it is uncomfortable. Basically, you won't look sloppy wearing it. It's fairly lightweight, but still keeps you warm. A great balance. For what it's worth, I'm 6'2" and about 183 - 185 lbs with a 41 - 42" chest and the Large size fits well. I've washed this once since I bought it and chose to let it air dry, so I can't really comment on whether or not it shrinks. Either way, I initially bought one and came back to buy another in a different color. I'm pleased.
