Hiphugger Period Moderate Absorbency Underwear

To me, this is one of the best inventions for women within the last few years. I have several pairs and have even purchased these as gifts for loved ones (is it weird to buy period underwear as a gift!?). Although the directions say that this works best without the use of a pad or panty liner, I will wear pads with this on my heaviest days as the underwear will act as my "safety net" to guard against leaks when I can't get to the bathroom to change during a busy day of work or while I'm sleeping at night. Highly recommend giving these a try. In regards to sizing, I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs, purchased these in size medium because I don't like underwear that is very tight and these fit great.

I do not normally write reviews but this is an expensive item for what it is underwear. I have had these for about 2 months and thought they were doing what its purpose was to be "period proof". Well that all changed rather quickly....I wear these to prevent potential staining to clothes and sheets and it just completely failed on me. I do not wear them freely and always with hygienic product so not for this type of incident to occur....but yeah still a fail. I will still keep and wear them but not treat it as it is "period proof" because what else am I supposed to do with them.
