The Nike long-sleeved 1/2 zip top is a great choice for those seeking a lightweight yet cozy option for running in those misty, chilly mornings. The fit of this top is perfect—it has a balance between comfort and style. The length is just right. It neither feels too baggy nor overly snug, which enhances agility during movement. Advertised as water-repellent, I can confirm its effectiveness in protecting against light rain or mist; however, it’s important to note that it doesn’t hold up well in heavy downpours, and you will end up soaked. Additionally, after several washes, I've noticed that the water-repellent feature gradually goes away, so it’s wise to consider reproofing if you intend to use it often in damp weather. I don't care for the finger sleeves so I tend to roll it up. Thankfully the length of the sleeve allows for me to roll the sleeves and maintain a good length. It also has some reflective detailing in case you want to use it toward the evening. It's very minimal, however, so I highly recommend using other reflectors/lights if you want to run at night. Is this top worth the investment? Absolutely. The fabric contributes to its comfort and durability, while the sleek design ensures you look good while maintaining warmth. I can easily envision myself reaching for this top for my brisk morning runs throughout the colder months. Super soft and comfy so do not mind having it on for long periods of time. I usually steal my boyfriends 1/2 zips, but now I have my own. I do not run, so not sure how it performs under those conditions, but for me its perfect!
