The Travel Backpack

I am a big girl and these straps are wayyyyyy to small. I went to the largest length possible. It kind of hurt my self-esteem too because I am in the process of losing weight and I don’t need one more thing showing me that I am overweight. Like the straps were so tight that it wasn’t comfortable nor easy to take off. I am really disappointed in the bag. I will definitely return it!

I'm currently in the middle of dealing with Beis to have my backpack replaced for the second time in one year. Both times the zippers on the front pocket broke. They are VERY stiff and brittle and even if I do get it replaced, I'm sure they will break again. Their customer service also sucks.

I’m a fan of Shay Mitchell’s, so I was obviously intrigued by her brand. However, I do have mixed feelings about this bag. PROS: Chic and simple design Unisex Bag opens up all the way, which makes for maximum packing potential Sturdy Price point decent for the quality CONS: Heavy even when empty The straps are adjustable but don’t stay in place Weight distribution needs improvement Needs just one more small zip compartment in the front/top of bag for small items you need to grab quickly like a bus/train pass or office building pass. The two side pockets look nice and are a good size for water bottles but bc there’s no drainage, it caught a ton of rain water when I was walking outside and it started to downpour. I know this is marketed more as a travel backpack, but my intention is to use it as a commuter and gym bag. Due to the size (awkward to have it on while standing in the crowded train) and mediocre weight distribution, this isn’t ideal for my usage, but I’ve decided to keep it for now because it stores a decent amount and looks better than most of the under $100 backpacks out there.

I purchased the the black backpack for my boyfriend and the light pink for myself. When I opened the black backpack package I wish I had ordered us 2 black ones I loved it so much. There’s plenty on space and I have used it as a personal item on one of those budget airlines and no one questioned me about it at all (me thinking it was big). Perfect for traveling.

This bag looked so cute online so I was excited to try it. My first issue is that the straps never stay at the adjusted length! It’s so frustrating. I’ll tighten the straps and they are back to being as loose as possible in 10 minutes. The beige also has cheap fake leather on the bottom that shows all scuffs and got dirty extremely fast. The water bottle Holder is an awkward size. The bag itself is deceivingly large. Overall not happy with my purchase :(
