My Favorite Multipurpose Travel Piece
I already own one of Away’s Train Cases that I use constantly for toiletries when I travel, and I liked the shape and size of it so much that I decided to buy a second one in Glazed Blue Opal specifically for my art supplies.
On a recent trip, it became the perfect way to organize brushes, paint tubes, pencils, palette knives, and all the small creative tools that usually end up loose at the bottom of a bag. What makes it work so well is the structure. Everything stayed protected and easy to find without feeling overpacked or chaotic. It opens wide enough that you can actually see what you packed instead of digging through layers to find one thing.
I originally bought these as travel organizers, but they’ve become one of my favorite multipurpose pieces . The design is simple, functional, and adaptable in a way that makes you keep finding new uses for it

Disappointed!
This was my 8th AWAY purchase and my only disappointment! I had to send it back, it's not designed well, it's actually painful to squeeze my small hand under the carry handle! It's a definite design miss.

Disappointing Purchase
I love my other 2 pieces of Away luggage but the train case is very disappointing. The lid of the case is so heavy, that when the case is empty and open, it falls over backwards, which makes packing it a " two- handed" proposition.
I am particularly disappointed, because I assumed the train case would be of the same excellent quality and design as my other bags, so I bought a train case as a graduation present for the daughter of a friend before I bought one for myself. I would have never bought it knowing what I know now.

Stylish case to transport medical equipment
The train case is the perfect size for the medical compression pump I have to travel with for my lymphedema and the other medical supplies. I bought the carry-on in paradise pink as a gift to myself on my breast cancerversary when the color was released for the first time. I was so excited to see the release of the new train case in the limited paradise pink. Now I feel more confident the equipment is better protected from moisture and bumps in a beautiful hard-sided case. And the zippered compartment in the lid is a great way to utilize all the space. If you have a Tactile Nimbl pump this case is perfect.

Lavender Train Case
Like the luggage and had plenty of room but limited warranty. It doesn’t come with matching luggage tag in that color to purchase. So you can’t get one to match.
