Not made well
I have purchased multiple leather items from Madewell and the quality of this bag is very poor in comparison. I’ve only carried a few times before it ripped at the seams. Purse is unusable now. Other leather goods from them was made with better quality, high grade leather. The price doesn’t match the quality. The style

This bag is THISCLOSE to being perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: It has thick, soft beautiful leather. The style is literally my perfect tote bag size. I love the straps and inter-changeable crossbody strap. Plus, the price point makes it marked just right for my budget.
Cons: The magnetic closure is mighty, but not very large. I feel like a lot of the bag is opened/exposed to sneaky hands. My biggest complaint is that I've had this bag for no more than 6-months and have already found the thick stitching at the handles (where it connects to the bag) have already started to come apart (like 2 of the 4 are already undone) - so sad :(
