The Spring Edition Set (Nordstrom Exclusive) $208 Value

This set includes 3 products, all of which I adore. I bought all included products separately, months before this kit was available. So the kit is a good deal if you don't already own these 3 products and think you will enjoy them all. If you aren't sure you will enjoy all three products, however, it isn't hard to buy them individually so in that case save your money and just get the items you want. For me...all three products are perfect for my coloring (light skin, hazel/green eyes, look best in "in between" neutrals that are not too cool nor warm. The Super Loaded Tinted Highlighter included is in the color Peau de Soleil, and it's not normally available at Nordstrom (or for that matter, anywhere else except for Westman Atelier's own website, and at the Goop store in Santa Monica CA as well as the Goop site.) It is a terrific color and I really love this product. It's an interesting product in that it is sort of a blush, and sort of a highlighter, at the same time. I wear it on its own sometimes, and sometimes in combination with a blush (often with Petal). It all depends on my mood, my outfit, and how much time I have to apply makeup on a given day. Petal (cream blush stick) is a lovely color that will flatter most light-to-medium skin tones. It was one of the first WA products I ever bought (in another set, the Petal Edition available Christmas 2022) and be warned, it is a gateway drug. The Les Nudes Lip Palette is something I enjoy using too. I like the texture of this formula as it feels comfortable on my lips...I don't like the feeling of having my lips feel "coated" in lipstick and this feels very comfortable and natural. The colors work nicely separately but sometimes I just swipe a lip brush through all of them. The result is a "my lips, but better" look. Very natural and pretty looking, ideal for someone like me who likes a more subtle style of makeup. The packaging of all Westman Atelier products is something I find very tasteful, understated, substantial, appealing, and most definitely luxurious. The compacts in this set, in particular, are gorgeous and look very luxe...they sure are showstoppers to take out of my purse. As others have noted, sometimes the compacts can take an extra second to open, which is not ideal but I'm willing to live with this. I am at least glad that the compacts stay properly closed. The blush and the Super Loaded are easy to apply with your fingers in a pinch...very easy when you need to pop on some makeup quickly and are short on time and tools. Les Nudes is best applied with a lip brush in my opinion but fingers will work if you don't have one on you. I very much appreciate that these products do not have any added fragrance. WA is definitely a luxury brand, not the most expensive I have seen, but definitely up there. So, individual items sold separately tend to be on the spendy side.

I was sent a set that was visibly used and missing an item. Chatted with customer service online, and the agent didn't seem overly concerned or bothered by this, just asked if I wanted to submit for a refund and mail it back. I highly recommend opening and checking this set, especially if you had purchased as a gift as I had. I've never had something like this happen to me with Nordstrom, and the customer service response was underwhelming to say the least.
