Warm, warm, warm

I bought this jacket in medium for my 79 year old husband. He is very active and walks our dog through rain, sleet, snow and windy conditions. He cannot believe how light weight and warm it is. It fits close to the body and you can wear it with only a light tee or sweater underneath. He rarely comments about anything that I buy him with respect to clothing but he really praised this purchase. If you don't like your clothes close-fitting it would not be for you. However, i believe the cut helps in keeping him warm. Glad I purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love North Face Products for my family. Normally my son wears a medium (based on his build). I originally purchased a medium and had to return it because my son's arm length required additional length for his arms. Suggestion: Create a product that accomodates extra long arms -Medium size with longer arm length would be ideal for someone like him. Just a thought. Thank you.

Warm, warm, warm

a must have

This is a “must have” for many reasons. It travels well...takes up little to no room...you can wad it in a suitcase or bag, pull it out and it looks great! It’s warm! It’s wind resistant...stylish. Runs true to size, so if you are hot blooded and wear T-shirts in the winter, get your true size, if you layer up with long sleeves you may want to size up...even so, it could be “pulled off”. With the $$ so when it was on sale...no brainer.

Nice jacket, runs big

Lightweight and warm. The quality you'd expect in a jacket from The North Face. This one has a boxy cut so if you prefer a more fitted jacket, order one size down. I returned the large for a medium which fits much better.

PERFECT gift!

Bought this for my Fiancé for Christmas. He is 6'3' and The North Face always makes sleeves that are long enough for his arms. Perfect for cold weather and it is lightweight. He LOVES it. Would highly recommend.

Warm and versatile. Boxy cut.

The look and weight of this jacket make it versatile for both active and casual use. It’s warm and it’s super packable. The only thing I don’t like is the boxy cut, which I’ve noticed is the way most of the North Face stuff fits. The cut may or may not work for you, depending on your body type, how you like your clothes to fit, and what kinds of activities you’ll be doing in this jacket.
