An essential parka made from DryVent 2L fabric that help you adapt to frigid conditions with its quilted 700-fill-power down insulation. When the weather is at its worst, a chin-length collar and three-piece adjustable hood with removable faux-fur trim minimizes exposure to the elements. Removable, internal, over-the-shoulder straps let you take your arms out of the sleeves and carry the jacket on your back.

Fabulous Coat
The reviews are true! This is a fabulous coat. Husband is tall and thin so fits him boxy and the arms are slightly long. We sized down. He got great use out of this coat with the colder then expected winter. This is his below 30 with no problem coat, eliminated his need for a scarf and no layers. North Face has thought of everything! So many details, some are: straps inside in case you want to carry your coat on your back. Pockets in the right place to protect cell. Hood fur to protect ears and hood is long enough to protect face.

Worth it for a good laugh
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know you've read it enough but this coat is cartoonishly big. I couldn't help but laugh when I opened the bag, and even more when I tried it on and look like a little kid trying on their dad's coat. I'm 5'11" 185lb with a 44" chest, athletic build, and I always wear L or XL in coats. At this point, I don't even think I'd fit a S, and the XXL could probably literally be used as a tent on your next camping trip. Just c'mon Northface! There is absolutely no excuse to still be selling this product in this state, especially given the price tag.
