Velcro
I prefer snaps to close the flap over the zipper. This has huge pieces of velcro and feels cheaper quality. I plan to return this ASAP. Just received today.

Women have curves!
Like the coat and love the hood, but this coat is not meant for women with curves or hips and a booty. The top was too large and the bottom unflattering and uncomfortable when zipped. I wish that the major outdoorsy clothiers would make long winter coats to fit women with curves. We get cold too and love the outdoors.

Very warm...
This coat is very very warm; the large fur hood provides great coverage for the neck, face and head. It is not your average everyday coat. I tried it in 30 degree weather in NYC with not much layers and it was way too hot for me. Also, it depends on your tolerance level for the cold. I'll reserve it for those brisk extreme cold days of at least 25 degrees and below. I am 5'2" 138lbs and the M fits me comfortably as i like room to move. The sleeves are not too long. My only complaint it's on the heavy side. The S size would have fitted me a bit too snug with no room to breath. I am happy with the purchase. I've had a much lighter North Face winter coat for about 11 years so i expect this one to last me quite a few years as i plan to only use it occasioanally.

Waterproof and So Warm - Highly Recommend!
I bought this for my trip to Iceland in October 2022 and was so happy with it throughout the entire trip! The temps were in the mid-30’s and incredibly windy at times and this jacket held up so well. I wore a lightweight long sleeve shirt underneath and was not phased by the temps. Iceland also has so many waterfalls - and I was able to get very close to them with no concern that my jacket would soak up the water. I would buy this 100x over!

Sizing slightly off
I’m 5’7,” 148 lbs. I purchased this coat in my normal Small size first, but it was huge! The sleeves, the waist, the hip part; everything was way too big! I exchanged it for an X-Small, and that fit except for the hips/butt area which felt a little too tight. I wore the coat for a few days, though, and it started to loosen up a little. I’m keeping the X-Small because I like a more fitted look and the Small looked so unflattering on me! Other than the strange sizing, this coat is extremely warm and perfect for chilly winters!
