The Longline Straight Leg Jeans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this jean on on a bit of whim, and was pleasantly surprised by the fit and quality of the denim. I did need to go down a size from my usual size in jeans. The length is perfect; for reference, I am between 5'4" and 5'5." The legs are not super fitted, which makes them very comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking jeans, very nice fit, but everything changed after washing. I followed the instructions exactly and they came out weirdly wrinkled and faded after one wash. U fortunately, ironing didn’t help. Really disappointing since I’ve never had this problem with any other Madewell jeans.

I love the style of these jeans, because they feel timeless, so I can keep them for a while even though jean trends are changing so fast these days. They feel sturdy, but still stretchable enough to feel held in, but breathable. I'm pretty short, but they didn't have the short or petite size in store, so I just had them tailored by an inch or so in the store. The regular length was not very long though, it was really just preference. So if you're tall - maybe be weary of that? Only disappointment is that I wish the black wash was a little more faded, so they look more true "jean"

I needed a black jeans that had some stretch and also fit my longer legs. I’m 5’8 and struggle with balancing length along with having curves. The curvy fit normally always works for me but these and regular fit surprisingly fit great. These is a little gap in the back of the jeans, but besides that these fit really well for anyone that normally needs a tall size or curvy fit.
