The Lexie Ankle Boot (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve owned in a while. I used to be a huge Madewell fan in college and when I found myself on the market for a new pair of boots in the fall, I was happy to find these on sale in the chestnut suede. I usually wear a 7 in boots and sneakers but because they’re quite long/pointed in the toe, I sized down to a 6.5. They have molded to my foot perfectly, like a pair of gloves. I treated them with mink oil spray and to avoid any blisters and speed up the stretching process, I made sure to break them in with thick socks and a little heated blow dry. My feet have been so happy to wear these ever since. I’m gonna snag the dark brown ones for next fall now that they’re on sale. I have to say these boots are more comfortable out of the box in the suede vs. leather — if you’re debating, I’d say go for the suede and get them treated! You won’t regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very cute and thankfully fit in a half size smaller than my usual— it was all that was left— and the overly-long toe is less noticeable in this smaller size (I have two other pairs in suede, in my usual size, and there is a good two extra inches of toe length, which looks a bit odd! But they are super comfortable). Anyway, paid full price for these leather ones
